Hiring Process for Teachers
College Achieve Paterson Charter School is an open-enrollment public charter school located in Paterson NJ with the mission to prepare our students to excel in and graduate from the top colleges and universities in the nation. Teachers will play an essential role in the success of College Achieve as high-quality teaching is the single most important factor in student learning. College Achieve is a school of excellence. We seek to employ teachers determined to close the opportunity gap for all of our students - offering our scholars the same bright futures we want for our own children.
College Achieve Paterson is growing at the rate of two grade levels a year, which means we are looking for great teachers and teachers who are interested in becoming principals one day. College Achieve Paterson prefers to hire from within our own ranks for the principal position in order to sustain and develop the College Achieve way.

Step 2: Selected candidates will be invited to an informational interview with the Principal. Other stakeholders might take part in this interview (teachers and parents) as well.
Step 3: Upon completion of the informational interview, top candidates will be invited to a final interview. The final interview will include multiple components including, but not limited to: a demo lesson and an interview with a panel of College Achieve stakeholders. Final details of what to expect during this final interview will be sent to selected participants.
